Meet the Team

Kia has been with Marine Plaza since she was just 16 years old. She first started out as a part time yard worker and boat cleaner. Over the years Kia has taken on many roles around Marine Plaza and she is now our service manager and head of the rental department. Kia is known around the shop as the one who got us all addicted to Starbucks! Send Kia an email if you would like to book a rental boat this summer or if you need a service appointment.

Amanda has worked in the marine industry for over 14 years and she has been with us for 5 years. Originally hired as an administration and quickly promoted to our office manager. She has a strong knowledge in parts and has been our go to person for all things fishing since day one. Amanda is known around the shop as the Office Mom since she is always take care of us.

Josh has been with Marine Plaza for 10 years! He is certified in Yamaha, Suzuki and Mercury outboard motors as well as all rigging components for SunChaser and SmokerCaft boats. His knowledge and experience has made him our go to person for everything boating. You can find Josh around the yard (sometimes upside down in boat) or water testing boats out on the local lake. Josh is known around the shop as a jack of all trades whos always willing to help.

Dwayne has been working with Marine Plaza for 6 years as our body shop technician. Dwayne is a perfectionist when it comes to gel working always trying to get the best colour match possible. If your looking for Dwayne be sure to check under the boat, as that's where he spends most of his time. Dwayne is known around the shop as the story teller since he always has something to say.

If you have had a boat delivery or boat pick up, you will know this awesome duo! Dennis is seasoned boater who has a wide range of experience when it comes to boating and Diane is always trying to keep her husband on time. They will always great you with a smile and willing to help you enjoy your time on the water.
